Okay, this is probably the most important information on the site. So please pay attention, and if you are confused about anything feel free to ask.
I am going to post the form itself, the copy and paste version, and then below it I will explain every single thing to the best of my ability.
Name: The name is simply the name of your character. For now, until we get more members, I request that we only create Clan cats. Normally, you would be able to make kittypets, loners, or rogues as well.
Names are generated based on rank. And they can be anything to do with nature or the surroundings. I'll name some examples from the book, to give you some examples. You may not use any of the names Erin Hunter uses in her books.
Brambleclaw
Fireheart
Jaypaw
Crowfeather
Cloudtail
Squirrelflight
Reedwhisker
Mistyfoot
Things of that nature.
Naming your cat can be confusing if you haven't read the books. But I will try to explain it.
Kits-Kits have 'kit' as the sur part of their names. For example, if you liked the name Brambleclaw, you wouldn't be able to name your cat that until it became a warrior. For the part of the life where its a kit, his name would be Bramblekit.
Apprentices-For apprentices, they have 'paw' as their last name. Going back to the first example, where we named the kit Bramblekit, and he was apprenticed, his new name would be Bramblepaw.
Warriors-Warrior names can be whatever you want, as long as they make sense, they are appropiate, and they are not used in Erin Hunter's books.
Deputies-A deputy's name is no different than his warrior name.
Leaders-Leaders must have 'star' at the end. Like our previous example, if Brambleclaw (This is still Bramblepaw, only he is a deputy now, therefore has a warrior name) made it to leader, his new name would have to be Bramblestar.
Elders-The equivalent to a warrior's name.
Queens-A warrior's name.
Medicine Cats-A warrior's name.
Age: The age of your cat should be written in moons, which is the equivalent to months.
Rank: Rank is the position your cat is in within his Clan. He could either be a leader, deputy, medicine cat, warrior, elder, queen, apprentice, or kit.
Leaders-Leaders guide their Clans, and are well respected. They have a special bond with the medicine cats, and they are the ones who have control and make decisions for their Clans. Female leaders cannot be pregnant, or have kits during their leadership, have a mate,
Deputies-Deputies are just warriors that are leader material in the leader's eyes. They organize patrols and they are the leader's assistant...when the leader dies, the deputy becomes the new leader.
Medicine Cats-Heal the injured cats, and have a special bond with StarClan. They have to sacrifice alot to be a medicine cat, like you can never have a mate and you don't serve for your Clan the way the warriors do.
Warriors-Warriors are the experienced cats who strengthen the Clans. They fight, they patrol and guard, and hunt for their Clans.
Apprentices-Train to become warriors. They are trained by warriors themselves, and mentors for the apprentices are chosen by the leader.
Kits-Newborn cats; live in the nursery with their mothers.
Queens-Pregnant or nursing she-cat warriors.
Elders-Warriors who have retired...do to old age or physical disability that stops them from carrying out their warrior duties.
Clan: Either ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, or WindClan.
Gender: The gender must be disclosed. A female cat is called a 'she-cat', while a male cat is called a 'tom'.
Description: At least five sentences about what your cat looks like. Five sentences may seem like alot, but it really isn't. EVen if you have a picture of your cat you must include five sentences. (Pictures are optional)
Personality: At least five sentences about your cat's personality. Five sentences isn't alot...and its fairly simple to do.
Backround: THE BACKROUND FIELD IS ONLY NECASSARY FOR LEADERS, DEPUTIES, AND MEDICINE CATS!! Every other rank does not need to include this field, it is optional. Its just a summary of their life that lead up to now. Must be at least seven sentences.
Extra: Anything extra you want to include about your character, such as if it has any kin, a mentor, a mate, ect..
An admin such as myself will be coming around to make sure you have made the bio correctly, and your bio will not be accepted if it is not done correctly. Thank you.
